Star Labelling Programme for Residential Buildings Launched

Minister for Power, Raj Kumar Singh announced the launch of ‘Energy Efficiency Label for Residential Sector’ program in India. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has developed this label for residential buildings to provide information to consumers about the energy efficiency program standard of the homes to be built across India.

Government Of India Launches Energy Conservation Building Code For Residential Buildings

Ministry of Power, Government of India launched the ECO Niwas Samhita 2018, an Energy Conservation Building Code for Residential Buildings (ECBC-R). This code was launched on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day 2018 at Vigyan Bhawan in the presence of Chief Guest Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, Shri R.K. Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (IC) for Power & NRE, Govt. of India and other dignitaries including representatives from industry.
